Why do we need this Project?

We have determined that our students do not have enough sensitivity about environmental awareness.  

They don't act carefully about sorting the garbage/waste (glass, paper, plastic); 

They use air conditioning and light at unnecessary times; 

They leave electric lights and air conditioners running even when classrooms are empty.

Why do we need mobility in the Partner country?

Providing information and technology transfer on sustainable environment with all the institutions and participants involved in the project 

On-site examination, development and production of countermeasures, policies and practices regarding the issue; ensuring the sustainability of this process 

Making reusable and/or recyclable designs in our school based on what we learned from our partner school.

We are carrying out our project as a member of the Antalya Provincial Directorate of National Education Accreditation consortium. 

 Activity plan and calendar

May: Announcement and promotion of our project to our school students, teachers, staff and parents 

June: Applying surveys to Determine the participating students 

July: As a result of the evaluation of the results of the applied survey, the participants with the lowest environmental awareness and literacy level are included in the project, who most need improvement in this issue. 

August: extra-curricular activities and courses to improve the language proficiency of the participants. 

September: creation of fixed boards in designated areas for the project, opening a project page on the school website, creating a project block, opening social media accounts 

October: Planning the activities to be done by contacting our European host (PORTUGAL)

November: Detection of deficiencies in our curriculum and training programs 

December: Cooperation with Akdeniz University Vocational School of Technical Sciences Environmental Protection and Control Department for a seminar on sustainable environment to students, teachers and staff in our school. 

January: The presentation of basic information on sustainable environment to the students, teachers and staff of Akdeniz University Vocational School of Technical Sciences, Department of Environmental Protection and Control, on the specified date and time. 

February: Evaluating the steps to be taken and the measures to be taken in our school as a requirement of a sustainable life after the training in January 

March: To implement the measures decided to be taken in February 

April: Realizing the mobility of our project (in Portugal) 

May: To evaluate how we can adapt and develop the research and learning activities, new designs and applications, and apply them in our school, to implement them and to make them widespread in schools in our province. 

Project coordinator Fatoş YÜCEDAĞ is a founding partner in the eTwinning project at the same time as the host school in Portugal. Our host school has projects on sustainable environment. In the eTwinning project we carried out together, good communication and cooperation was ensured. It was already agreed to continue this cooperation and harmony with new studies. All these will contribute positively to our Erasmus+ project. 

We plan to realize our mobility in April.

The first day of our 10-day mobility: travel, arrival, settlement, 

Day 2: departure and introduction to the host school, 

3rd day: examining the curriculum and training programs on sustainable environment, 

4th day: participation in the implementation of the curriculum and training programs, 

5. Introducing the environmental projects carried out in the school and examining the Garbage Separation (Ecological Points in the School) activity, 

Day 6: visit, study of the Organic Garden at the school 

7th day: Examining and evaluating the activities called signs to reduce consumption in toilets 

8th day: Attending the Class on Food Waste uExamine and participate in Eco-School Council activities at school 9.

Thanks to the project, it sets a good example in the preparation and use of new teaching methods, approaches and topics in our institution. 

We will gain in this subjects.
